Lethargy
I don't know whether it's the lingering effects of depression, the killing of brain cells that is retail, or a post-college slump, but I feel lethargic. And I hate it. Hate. With what little bit of passion is left in me. I want to feel productive, I want to feel needed, I want to feel like I'm contributing to humanity in some way. But instead I sell candles, I talk to my therapist, and I mope around the house. None of those things seems particularly helpful for the rest of the world (well, besides the me-talking-to-a-therapist one). Maybe I need to quit my job to save my soul. This thought has crossed my mind before--and I don't know that it would be a disproportionate thing to do.

Oh my dearest Alicia, I'm sorry for your vocation confusion (is that a good name for it?). I think that you should quit your job, wait for your lease to run out, and then move to South Bend. Why? Well, because we have the South Bend Chocolate Company out here, and chocolate comes from a bean, and beans have protein, and as a vegetarian you need protein. Also, chocolate has milk, and milk has calcium, and that prevents osteoporosis. So, out of consideration for your health, you should move to South Bend. Also, it is much colder here, and the cold means that your body has to work harder to stay warm, which means you burn more calories, and burning calories prevents obesity, and obesity is linked to bad health things. So again, a move to South Bend would clearly be good for your health. Also, I am in South Bend and could talk to you about theology and talking about theology stimulates brain cells, and stimulated brain cells probably have some good health side effect, so again, South Bend is clearly the place to be if you want to be healthy. Finally, if you moved to South Bend, I would be around to justify things (like moving to South Bend) for you, and me justifying things helps both of us to refine our reasoning skills, and refined reasoning skills make people smart, and smart people get good jobs, so by moving to South Bend you could get a good job.
So, there you go. Another life crisis solved. :-)
